Video Game Rental Saved This Mom’s Life!
Category: Cash Video | Sep 22, 2009 |

OK, well maybe that’s an exaggeration – but it sure saved Mom’s cash! Video game rental is the single best way to try video games before you buy. Just like movie rentals, video games are available to rent from many or most movie rental companies, along with some game stores and online as well. The big problem with renting form a local store, though, is that they rarely have a good selection, and it can be very expensive.
Online video game rental is the ultimate in convenience and cost savings. Video game rental means you don’t have to buy a game for $30 or more, but you can try games before buying to make sure it’s a game you want to keep.
As a parent, online video game rental was a godsend. Our gamer at home was about 6 years old at the time we bought the GameCube. We had no idea about content of games or which games were any good, video game rental was a great way to go. I wanted to make sure I could view games before I let my son play them. I wanted to make sure they weren’t to violent, or moronic, or frightening.
It turned out to be a great decision! They had an incredible selection of games, we had so many to choose from. We also saved money over the local store because we paid no late fees or shipping; we were able to just send back the games that were really bad. But best of all, we earned credits toward buying, and if we found a game we liked, we just keep it and they send us the box and inserts, with free shipping. One game we bought retails for $50, but we “kept” it for $27 with credits and discounts – a really great deal all around! With another game, he played and completed all levels in just 3 days – definitely not one we’d have been happy to buy.
Now my son has a Nintendo DS in additional to the GameCube, and we’re thinking of getting the Nintendo Wii. Our service has all the games for every platform – it’s easy to put them in our “queue” and when we return one, the next one is sent out.
Online video game rental has been a wonderful service for us, and it can be a great deal if you want to try out games before buying and see if they’re worth keeping. Many online video rental companies offer a free trial – it’s worth it to see if it is right for you.

Help answer the question aboutcash video
Gamestop will not buy video games for cash from dealers?I wanted to sell used video games to Gamestop for cash. I told them I sell video games at flea market. They said I was a "dealer" and was therby prohibited from selling to them, then they bought games from the next person in line. Is this legal?
I told them I was a dealer because they asked why the games were in like new shape. I wasn't selling them for profit. I was desparate for money.
what does this have to do with the illuminati?
propa 90′s piff luvin it m8!
The video is perfect for this time of year, with Halloween and Bonfire Night at the moment. WHAT A TUUUUUUUUUUNE!!! Really awesome stuff, Dizzee.
WHAT A TUNE! The video’s crazy!!! Those masks scare the hell outta me!!! Really quality stuff, Dizzee.
anti-Illuminati anthem
the blonde woman near the start looks a bit like Lady Gaga
the torches are a Freemason symbol, Dizzee’s song and video is against the Illuminati- the rich and powerful elite that control the world and are trying to form a New World Order in which the rest of us will be enslaved. there’s lots of info on this on youtube if you’re interested, the symbols are in a lot of music videos particularly Jay z, Rihanna and Lady Gaga
this video is full of Masonic symbolism, just like the Jay z ‘Run this Town vid. I bet I’l get loads of thumbs down for this though…
who is the bird that sings?
please do not go to gamestop they will give crap money for 5 games at the most. try and sell it to a local business, and if not that try a pawnshop.
idk, but their name was The Hot Boy$. Everybody was real in the group, until we found out about Wayne. I live in New Orleans and he saying he a blood, we dont have gangs in New Orleans. But, New Orleans boys that went to Houston for Katrina and came back say they bloods, so they trying to bring it down here. But whoeva made the video just want attention.
It is perfectly legal. They are a private business and can choose who they buy from, since your games are directly converted into stock. They do not accept games from dealers due to their own company policy. Next time don't tell them you are a flea market dealer. If they were forced to buy all the games any potential dealer brought them then someone could potentially bring in 100 games and demand they purchase them.
I highly suggest an online auction site like Ebay.
yes they will take the controller, its just they are super cheap bastards lol so they wont give you much.
If its in petty good condition it would be about $80 to $110
I'm going to look for it now. I've always liked that song. For some odd reason Johnny Cash reminds me a little of my late grandfather so I've always been a fan of his.
Its "Gods Gonna Cut you Down" and its an old church hymn that Johnny redid. I love the video, black and white and including alot of celebraties that you would never believe with show up in a Johnny Cash video. It just goes to show how far across the board Cash's music was felt. You asked why celebs would lend their image to this video? Because they have respect for Johnny Cash. Im not so sure how the video casts them in a bad light?
