A day of testing for the 360 in development included turning the console on, timing how long it took to turn on, writing that answer down, turning it off, waiting 30 seconds, and doing it again, for 8 hours and $6/hour. You're not just sat in a seat, given Halo Wars or Final Fantasy XIII and said "play it 'til you have to go home".
If you're really interested, find games that are in open beta, join their forums, and contribute on there. You might make a contact at a game studio that may be able to help if you eventually do more to focus on a gaming career, like learning computer programming languages to help better understand development and coding. well sometimes there are sites that buy instructional videos or other cool videos, but it depends on if they're interested. if i were you, i would find some of these sites and contact the owners to see if they're interested in buying.

Unless you are really, really good at making movies with your video camera, there arent too many ways to make money with a regular home video. There is always a way to make your video public through youtube. If your artistic shots are very good, then I would recommend either getting a cd of your video and selling it in a garage sale or see if your community has any art shows involving video art.

coding, programs, programmers, advertisements, shipping, testers, testing system, coffee, donuts, Advertisement, and same stuff as in a movie.
just because thier not in the game, programmers and coders are as worthful as actors. and you need a lot more programmers and coders than as in actors. don't forget the writers, the sound guys, the voice actors, and the mess ups. if you mess up in a movie you can probably just edit it out. in a game, if you mess up, you havbe to go back, fix that, and any thing affected by it. trust me, it takes a lot of cash.
but Half life 2 was extra expensive. the longer it is in production, the moire it will cost.
