yes it gets boring. all of the action is repetitive. and a lot of driving around for no reason, just filler. ending is rad though.
If you ever find yourself getting bored doing those missions remember that it is a sandbox game. So going on a rampage through the wilderness with a sniper rifle, grenade launcher, and shotgun does liven things up. The story line is never really good, the combat is fun, but driving to every location is boring, so I recommend riding the bus as often as possible to get to where you need to go.

I have never played Battlefield 2, but I really enjoy FarCry 2. I mostly spend time on the campaign, but I have sampled the multiplayer, which consists of a CTF mode, replaced with diamonds, and DM. FarCry, had a lot of payers online when I tried it. I don't know of any more game types, but it doesn't really need others. There are about 6 weapon classes that can be upgraded by playing in the multiplayer mode. All weapons are available for use in short order if you mainly play online, so I recommend FarCry 2.
Hello mate, i have had Far Cry 2 (360) for a few days now and i have brought the stealth upgrade suit. It is really worth buying, it really works even tho you cant see it on you but its there alright. Ive noticed that the don't hear and notice me as much and once i was stealth sniping in a small bush and they could of easily seen me but they didn't so i recommend you buy it, i think its 48 diamonds so do a few contract missions before going to buy it.
Also when i brought my camo suit i brought the silenced MP5 and silenced Pistol with both weapons fully upgraded. Its a really great ninja combination.
(you can also carry a sniper)

yes far cry 2 is good cuz you can share maps and play ranked maches on user created stuff but the gun are kinda suckish if you want a good first person gun game i recomend call of duty 5
Far Cry 2. Mirros Edge is pretty sick, but its also very short so you'll get bored of it pretty fast. Far Cry's multiplayer isn't that great, but checking out other peoples maps is pretty cool cuz the map editor is great. I wouldn't get it for the multiplayer, but the single player is great. The map is huge and you can play however you want: sniper, stealth, assault, demolitions.
Its similar to COD 4 but i think its more fun cos of the wider ranger of maps.
