How To Sell More With Video!
Category: Traffic Video | Dec 30, 2009 |
The Web is no longer just linking information and digital text. Instead Web 2.0 is about linking people… People sharing, trading, and collaborating together, and video has proven time and again to deliver best on this potential whenever you’re selling a product on the net!
More and more people are selling over the Internet. The market is dense, opaque and too broad. Nowadays getting attention from potential prospects has become a Herculean endeavor. The marketing arena in the new wave of web 2.0 is dominated more and more by Video. Video will fully embrace online marketing as never before.
What the majority of Internet Marketers have overlooked over the years, is that people want to be entertained, as opposed to reading long sales pages as they used to, not knowing in advance what was in it for them. This is why people like to scan sales pages from top to bottom without even reading the first line… The consequences ? The Internet Marketers miss lots of opportunities simply because people didn’t read this kind of sales page closely enough.
A good introductional video can highlight the benefits of the sales page and showcasing key feature bullet points and benefit bullet points. It’s a starting point. Getting the prospect hooked and enticed to read more is what a marketer’s good sales page should do. A good headline may certainly make a sale, but its no match for video!
The power of video can be summed up by the motto, “A picture is worth a thousand words.” What this means is that video images can express those concepts and that knowledge that are difficult to explain in words. Videos have a power to speak directly to your subconscious. Also bear in mind that pictures and sound are more vivid and tend to stick a little bit longer in the brain, than written text. So once the reader is already immersed in the subject line, he will dig further in the details to see what’s in for him. This way you’re sure to make a good pitch!
The trick about videos is to add taste with humor, entertainment, controversy, and educational value to capture the imagination and the fantasy of your readers. With video you can sell them the sizzle as well as the steak! We all know the viral potential of videos right?… Add to that these ingredients and you have a sales page on steroids that’s sure to stick for a while in the mind of your readers! Interactivity – the appeal to the sensations and emotions of your prospects – is the buzzword of video marketing!

Is it legal for me to affix a youtube camera to my car windshield and video traffic wherever I drive? Is it legal for me to affix a youtube camera to my car windshield and video traffic wherever I drive?
A youtube camera is basically a new type of mini-camcorder (valued at $130) that is the size of a digital camera and records one hour of video in youtube format for immediate youtube upload.
Asains cannot drive for the life of them…..
are there at least any rules or are they just ignoring the traffic lights/signs?

gamestop is pretty much the best
try to catch offers they have, http://www.gamestop.com will always advertise their offer on their homepage
you can find all you want for wholesale really cheap at salehoo, its actually the biggest wholesalers site online , http://www.salehoowholesalers.com , guess its the best place to find the reliable wholesalers
do you have hollywood video in your area? if so try the gamecrazy they did a lot better than gamestop by 5 bucks per title. just remember if your selling old titles more than a year old you won't get much for them. its best to finish the game when new and return it asap i've gotten as much as 35 bucks per game when there new and in demand
Yup, I used to work at a used videogame store meself. All ya do is throw all your old stuff you never use play anymore into a big bag and drop it on the counter. Chances are you won't even have to tell them whats up, as they get it all the time. Next they'll sort through your stuff and check the condition of your things. Meanwhile you could probably walk around and check out anything you see in the store that you may like. After a while depending on how much stuff you bring in they will call you up and give you their quotes. In most places I've been to, and including the one I've worked at, they will give you a store credit quote and a cash quote. The store credit quote will more than likely be substantially more than the cash one as they would love to buy your stuff AND keep your purchases with them. Anyway, hope this helps ya!
Oh and by the way, don't feel uber cheated when you don't get much of a quote in terms of cash, as you have to see it from their point of view. As you said you'll be bringing in a bunch of old games, and from their perspective they have to determine if those old titles ever have a chance of leaving their shelves. If any of those old games are sports games, chances are you'll get a nickle each… xD
Contact them and say "I have an idea for a game."
If you want to start a video game store business I think you need to get a liscence or permit first, i think its a process that you have go threw. If you do start a business give the gamers more for their used games than gamestop. If you start a business make it different than gamestop, look at gamestop's flaws and take advantage of them, if you give the people better service then they will most likely turn to your business.
Talk to a company….. actually contact them about it.
